AML check for TRON & USDT addresses
See whether a TRON address is linked to sanctions, scams, stolen funds, mixers or darknet markets before you pay it or accept USDT from it. Below are two sample reports so you know what you get.
What it checks
- Sanctions lists (e.g. OFAC)
- Scams & fraud reports
- Stolen funds
- Mixers
- Darknet markets
- Gambling
- Exchanges & services it deals with
You get a verdict (clean, caution or high risk), a risk score, any flagged links with how many steps away they are, and the exchanges and services the address's funds connect to.
Sample reports
What a clean address and a risky one look like. Both are illustrations with a fictional address and made-up counterparties; a real report names the actual entities.
Price
Live prices, paid in TRX from your own wallet. A recent report for the same address may come from our records, and the result says when it was checked.
How it works
- Paste the TRON address you want to check, here or on any explorer address page.
- The TronTransfer app opens on the AML Check tab. Connect your wallet and approve the TRX payment shown.
- You get the verdict in seconds to a minute, with the full report one tap away.
Questions
What is an AML check for a crypto address?
AML stands for anti-money-laundering. An AML check traces where an address's funds came from and went, and tells you whether it is connected to sanctioned entities, scams, stolen funds, mixers or darknet markets. Exchanges run these checks too, which is why tainted USDT can be frozen or refused when you try to cash out.
Why check an address before accepting USDT?
If USDT you receive is later linked to a scam or a sanctioned wallet, an exchange can freeze it and Tether can blacklist the address holding it. Checking the sender first lowers that risk, especially for large P2P or OTC payments.
What's the difference between the free check and the full AML check?
The free safety check on every explorer address page reads public on-chain data: Tether's blacklist, address-poisoning patterns, contract or wallet, and age. The full AML check queries a professional screening provider that follows the money across many hops and labels the entities it reaches.
How much does it cost and how do I pay?
The price is shown live on this page and in the app, in TRX with the dollar equivalent. You pay from your own wallet in the TronTransfer app (Local check via BitOK, or Worldwide via Elliptic). Nothing is charged until you approve the payment in your wallet.
Does a clean result mean an address is safe?
No check can prove an address is safe. A clean result means the provider found no links to the risk categories it screens for at the time of the check. Always confirm the full address with the person you're dealing with.
Does TronTransfer hold my funds or see my wallet keys?
No. The explorer only reads public TRON data, and in the app you sign the TRX payment for the check in your own wallet. TronTransfer never holds your USDT or your keys.
